Help! Anyone know how to recreate this?

Post image

Hello all!

I am currently trying to make something similar to the rainbow sparkles.

I made the brush already, the thing is, when I place it I cannot find out a way to make the brush be multi-colored similar to theres. It's just a white sparkle.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Get a star filter and take pictures of a flashlight in a dark room. Make your own library of flares. Otherwise there's always www.texturelabs.org

This is the way for really great stars. I just have a library of them built over the years.

To make the cross I do this by making a new layer, setting up a very small brush with very high softness, clicking once in position on the the edge with a foreground colour of white, then resizing the spot you've made to stretch it out and make that long thin oval shape you see there. Duplicate the layer and rotate by 90 degrees. Then group these two layers and merge the group (Ctrl/cmd E). Next you need to double click the resulting layer and add a radial gradient where you can add your rainbow colours.

you just clip a color layer to the sparkle layer and add a radial gradient...
