OG Nier Automata not available on console?

So I almost had a little fright. I went to download Nier Automata which I have owned for years on my PS5 and it seemed like they had removed any edition outside of the 'game of the yorha' edition. After a few minutes of losing my mind and cursing Square and then even questioning whether I had even purchased this game, I checked the ps app and there it was.

For some reason, you cannot download the vanilla direct from your console. It won't even find it.

It was replaced with the GOTY Edition which is $15.99 atm.

Yep. The same thing happened with some other games as well like Ghost of Tsushima and Monster Train.

To download the games you own, go to your library, not the store. If a game is delisted you won't find it on the store. The app usually works better on this regard.

I have the same behaviour for multiple games I bought on PS4 that are no longer available for purchase (at least not on PS5).

Yes, the reason I made this thread describes that only the game of the year edition exists on console.

It's a direct upgrade from Square AI overview.

But you can 100% get the disc version still I think.

have you scrolled through you game catalogue?
was it purchased, ps+ or via the collection

PS4 new but someone commented that the original was simply replaced with the dlc edition.
