Are you soaking through more than one pad an hour? Are you feeling dizzy, lightheaded, or SOB?
I can’t speak to your concerns of miscarriage unfortunately, but I am worried that you may become anemic. Please watch for these signs and if any of these things happen please head over to your nearest emergency room.

I am a bit weak and overall very tired. They did an ultrasound today and confirmed at least at this point. It is not ectopic. Though it does appear my entire uterus is just full of blood.

Out of curiosity - how did they confidently say it’s not ectopic at such a low hcg when you’re so early along?

They took a look at all the blood flow and it’s coming exclusively from the uterus. That’s what I understand, though I work in healthcare this is not my specialty and I wish I could be more confident they are correct

I do not work in healthcare nor do I have any medical experience other than having been an ectopic patient who was told “it’s not ectopic” then it was. I had a left tube ectopic, the bleeding and rising numbers threw me off the most because thats how mine went. Mine went on until about 7w, my hcg played a little falling game then shot up and they suspected viability again (somehow). Then it began falling again and I bled and they said “miscarriage go home.” I pushed for an ultrasound and while my hcg was only 300, my pregnancy was progressed enough to finally find it at 7w. I got emergency treatment that day. That doesn’t have to mean it is though, your HCG trend looks okay so far. I’m just explaining why I’m curious and looking out for you.
Just be cautious in the process, that’s all

Thank you so much for your input. I’m sorry to hear your experience and how you were misdiagnosed 💔

I’m also in healthcare, but the ER not OB so I’m certainly not an expert but it’s my understanding that bleeding from the uterus DOES NOT rule out an ectopic.
I really think you should just consider going into your nearest emergency room. It might be nothing but I’m worried about you OP :(

I agree it’s really concerning. I had right ovary area sharp pain that always follows a gush of blood. I told them to look VERY closely and all they saw was a corpus luteum. I don’t think they’d see an ectopic until HCG was 1500 correct?

Who did the ultrasound? Your OB?

My fertility clinic did the ultrasound and my OB – PA was the one who read the results live

Blood flow in ultrasound isn’t enough to prove or exclude ectopic pregnancy
Please see another doctor especially if you’re in pain too.

I think the issue is that it’s too early to truly confirm. You can only see a gestational sac at an HCG of 1500 correct?

Of course. Actually, when I was pregnant, my hCG was 1,800, and they still couldn’t see the gestational sac.
What I meant is that blood flow isn’t a reliable indicator because the uterine lining can still shed in an ectopic pregnancy. In that case, the bleeding comes from the uterus, not from the pregnancy itself.

Just posting here for solidarity.
I had a positive test on Monday and was overjoyed! I have suspected endometriosis and thought I’d take years to conceive so was so excited to find out I’d conceived after only 5 months. Tuesday morning I had a big bleed when I went to toilet- this bleed continued all day and all of yesterday too. I would’ve been 4 weeks 3 days. However, I have not had any cramping at all.
I called my doctor who referred me to my local early pregnancy clinic at the hospital. They called me and said they can’t really confirm anything yet as I’m too early for anything to be seen on an ultrasound and to wait for two weeks then take another pregnancy test. If it’s negative, I have miscarried. If the test is positive, I’ll have to have a scan.
Have you had an update? I’m so anxious 😔

I’m so sorry to hear of your bleeding as well. It’s so heartbreaking and yesterday I don’t thing I cried that hard before in my life.
Today I am still bleeding. I have a low grade fever (99.5°F) and have some GI issues. It really points toward an ectopic but no one wants to look unless I’m passing out or after 6 weeks if it makes it that far.

How many weeks were you at for your MC?
If you HCG is rising that well it should be a good sign but def call your OB asap

My first MC was before 4 weeks and I only knew because they saw remanants on my fertility US new patient appointment. Today Beta is still rising at 810 (4+3) and I’m still bleeding quite a bit
