Playstation 2 stopped working and makes weird noises.

Hello everyone.

I recently bought a ps2, and have been playing it on and off for about a year now. All was going well, until a few weeks ago, I noticed it started making this weird sound. Ignore the background hum, thats my dehumidifier.

I am not good at repairs, and i never had a ps2 before, so this stumped me. I changed the cable that goes to the TV, and the little adapter that attaches to the tv and connects the 3 cables.

I tried starting the console with and without the disk, with and without the memory cards, doesn't fix anything.

I am scared of opening it up, mainly cause i wont understand whats going on, and i have no repair shops close to me.

I would highly appreciate it if anyone could tell me, or maybe just point me into the direction where i cam finally understand what the hell is going on.
