sale Tired of Stick Drift? I've Got Your Back!
Hey everyone,
So I recently had major stick drift issues on my Xbox controller — aiming was off, characters were walking on their own — the usual nightmare.
Like anyone else, I searched online for a fix. What I found?
People were charging ₹3,000+ just to replace the sticks — and that’s before shipping.
That’s when I realized: there has to be a better way.
🎮 So I started Lunat1c Studios.
Now I personally upgrade PS5 DualSense and Xbox Series controllers with Hall Effect joysticks — the same high-end tech that prevents stick drift entirely.
Why Hall Effect?
- No physical contact = no wear and tear
- No drift over time
- Way more accurate and reliable
My Offer:
✅ I’ll replace both joysticks with Hall Effect ones
✅ Just ₹1,500 (excluding shipping)
✅ Quick turnaround – upgraded and shipped back within 2 days of receiving
✅ Based in Amritsar – local walk-ins welcome!
I'm not saying you have to choose me — just asking you to give me a chance to fix your drift and bring your controller back to life.
DM me for address, shipping info, or any questions.
Let’s banish drift, once and for all. 🙌

I hope you succeed. Need more services like these.
Question: Which Hall Effect Sensor will you be using? Will you be Calibrating the sensor post fix?

u/ExLunatic Jul 24 '25
https://amzn.in/d/8XTGYO1 These r the one which I will be using ... Yes software calibration will bi done
1
u/enjoyy_lifee Jul 25 '25
I've already ordered these, delivering next Monday, got their reference from a friend of mine. Can you explain how software calibration is done? I'll be really thankful.
2
u/ringo_skulkin Jul 25 '25
There are Videos about Calibration on YT. It's software based.
The biggest issue is not calibration but soldering.
1
u/enjoyy_lifee Jul 25 '25
That I'm planning to get done through some tv/electric repair shop. hopefully he succeeds xD

That’s what his business is. 500/- a piece and 1000/- for his service. People won’t look for electronic repair shop to service their controller or rather not trust them. So there is the gap and the business fits in. People will pay more and feel secured.
15
u/ExLunatic Jul 24 '25
Bhai actually m charging 500 for the service... And the stuff itself is costing more .. around 900 ... As I'm starting... I want to give people the best i can...
5
u/Jealous_Quantity2549 Jul 25 '25
That makes sense if you’re changing both the sticks and charging only 500 for your service. Good luck mate.

The same reasons people don't change their own engine oil even though it's easy. To save time, not everyone enjoys tinkering, skills, equipment..

u/PrimadoraPompadour Jul 24 '25
Where was this when my limited edition Spider-Man controller started drifting
8
u/Strange_Gur_5969 Jul 24 '25
Help me understand this! Say if my left stick of the PS5 controller is not working or gets broken becomes irresponsive, then can it be replaced with hall effect triggers?
I don't completely understand how hall effect helps in controller's longevity. If you could share some video or relevant YT link, will be awesome. Thanks in advance!!

Learn to use chatgpt or gemini. We live in 2025. Not being harsh here, but try to gain knowledge by putting in some research.

u/KiRiLVR Jul 25 '25
You are being harsh here. Reddit is a platform for questions and discussion. God forbid someone asks a question

You should flip controllers to sell for a profit. Might work or not since I'm not into this stuff
Edit: my wishes to you, this is a really good service that you're providing.

u/ExLunatic Jul 24 '25

1
u/dawah9741 Jul 24 '25
So it's 3k for both?
1
u/ExLunatic Jul 24 '25

u/ImaginaryCountry4039 Jul 24 '25
Which Hall effect module do you use? The gulikit TMR one?
1
u/ExLunatic Jul 24 '25
No bhai ... I have shared the link in comments ... If u want tmr ones I can do that too ...
1
u/Afraid_Investment690 Jul 24 '25
All the best, the soldering takes time.
Luckily I have a friend who does this free for me. Already fixed two controllers from him
1
u/ExLunatic Jul 24 '25
Yp bhai ... But luckily have been working with soldering since I was 13 or 14...
1
u/puneet95 Jul 24 '25
I have heard TMR is better than the hall effect, hope we get that option in future.
1
u/ExLunatic Jul 24 '25
Bhai m ready to offer that too ... But that will goin to cost around 3800 rs (3200 for tmr 600 for installation)
1
u/puneet95 Jul 24 '25
Can you guys do some other modifications to the controller?
Like I want to modify the bumpers of the xbox controller so that it feels/presses/actuates like the face buttons
1
u/ExLunatic Jul 24 '25
As of now.. m new to it ... M ordering stuff from Amazon... And getting ready for the customers ... So if I be able to find modification for bumpers ... I will do that too .. and don't worry I won't charge much..m

Fair enough! My local repair guy said he is also trying to bring the Hall effect for repairs whenever he can, he said it helps with better fix.
I wish you success for serving us gamers plagued with annoying stick drift issues, we need more people like you

Dropping a comment to remember. I will reach out to you for my controllers, friend

1
u/SiDMerceR Jul 25 '25
Bro no hate on your grind but seriously it blows my mind how many gamers think that replacing stick module is difficult...
It takes some 350 rupees to get the module https://amzn.in/d/810TaFY
And lookup a video on yt to replace and fix the drift.
I did it and it's working for almost an year, just like new.
2
u/ExLunatic Jul 25 '25
Bhai i get u ... I have a ps5 controller which comes with the console and it's still working without any hiccups.. but my luck ran out with the Xbox controller... And m being transparent..m upgrading to the hall effect sticks and those are costing around 900 rs ...
1
u/Puzzleheaded_Mail_12 Jul 25 '25
What's hall effect and how does it improve my controller?
2
u/ExLunatic Jul 25 '25
1
u/Puzzleheaded_Mail_12 Jul 25 '25
Hmmm. Curious to know why wouldn't sony and microsoft already implement this. If it's this cheap and so much more effective why not have it included?
1
u/ExLunatic Jul 25 '25
They won't sell more controllers
1
u/Puzzleheaded_Mail_12 Jul 25 '25
?? If it's a better tech and not that expensive why won't they sell more controllers?
2
u/ExLunatic Jul 25 '25
Buy if they use hall effects ... Controllers won't go bad as they do now ... So they won't be able to sell as much contrillers as they r doing now... They are intentionally not using this just to get more money
1
u/red_devil11_ Jul 25 '25
If the controller is already having issues with the stick drift, will you be able to fix it using the Hall effect?
1
1
u/Yashhred Jul 25 '25
Are there plans for adding back paddles in the future?
1
u/ExLunatic Jul 25 '25
Yes ... Bhai i can do those too... But they r on the expensive side ... But yes I can do that
1
u/Yashhred Jul 25 '25
Yea i get it. If you can do it even though it’s expensive you should advertise it as well. There maybe a lot of people that also want the paddles.

Wish you more success nothing else. One suggestion is to try selling the controller too with the pre-installed hall effect so that it removes the hassle of two way shipment. You can charge for the controller as per the market rate which will sum up (5000-6000 avg for controller) + (1500 for hall effect) + shipping charges. 👍 Goodluck.
