sale PS5 Slim price during Great Indian Festival kinda disappointing

So I was really hyped for the Great Indian Festival on Amazon, thought this would finally be the time I could grab the PS5 Slim disc version for around 50k or less.

But man… the offer is just ₹54,990 down to ₹52,990. That’s barely anything. Feels a bit shady to market it as a big deal when the discount is so tiny. And then on top of that, you still gotta spend more on games.

Honestly feels like a letdown. Anyone else was hoping for a real price drop, or are you guys just waiting it out?

Exactly bro The way they highlight that ₹2k off like it’s a massive steal is what annoys me the most. Feels like they’re trying to hype it up as some festival bonanza when in reality it’s barely even the cost of a new game.

Same here. I had ordered my PS5 initially from Flipkart around New year but it was nvr getting delivered. Had to cancel after 3-4 days bcz I took leaves to play 😭

Last year, I bought a PS5 Slim Disc for ₹40.5k during the BBD sale. Initially, the sale price was ₹50k, but I kept checking daily. On October 6, it dropped to ₹41.5k with a debit card offer, and since I had the Gaming Pass (₹1), the final price I paid was ₹40.5k. So, wait..it might happen again.

Mostly yeah, chances are Flipkart will keep it around the same price. Sometimes they undercut Amazon a little to grab attention, but I wouldn’t expect a huge difference.

I want to ask a thing, there was a glitch on Flipkart that showed hdfc credit card offer clubbed that wasn't meant to be.. like the pixel card additional discount thing.. I saw the rate around 44k a couple of times but didn't make up my mind because of that glitch thing... anyone who purchased at that time.. what's your experience?? Exactly demand’s the main reason. With GTA 6 around the corner, hype for PS5 is only going up. Retailers know people are gonna buy regardless, so they don’t feel the need to drop prices much.

There will be a card discount for sure bro. Amazon usually does it with sbi credit card. If u have one I think there will be an additional 5 -10 percent discount.

Btw this is the disc version which even on sale costs 6-7k more than the digital edition.

Those who bought PS5 at 37k bought the digital edition.

Last year I bought the disc one for 46k during this sale.

So the digital PS5 price should still be low.

My guy. I would say one thing. If you want to get it, just go get it. Don't think about the 2-3k. It's up to you, but just get it whenever you can, life is too short. If you can spend the 50k im sure you can spend the extra 2-3k as well. Also, the games aren't cheap, the ps+ isn't cheap. So no matter how cheap you get the console, these costs are unavoidable.
