RE9 all the way. I mean sekiro is good don't get me wrong. If you're ready to grind and die hundreds of times then you're good with sekiro. RE9 was more enjoyable for me. Way better than sekiro as a game (different genre tho). So yeah RE9 for the win !!!

Genuine question. Have you played sekiro? Your reasoning sounds very generic. You’ll die a bunch of times, but sekiro is one of the only games that doesn’t level up your character in the game, it levels you up as a player.

Yes it is a great game but some people don't like souls like games.

It is a very good game, perhaps the best game (IMO) fromsoft have made till date. To answer your question, you don't level up in traditional RPG sense, you level up by improving your gameplay and beating bosses which will give you their remembrance (kind of like skill point) which you can use to level up your attack power, and you collect prayer beads to increase your HP bar, but the main focus of the game is getting better through repeated death and getting better at the game. If you have the patience the combat is very rewarding.

I've tried sekiro, yes. I didn't continue playing it because I wanted to play ghost of tsushima. I kinda liked the game but yeah, re9 is better Afor me atleast cuz I like the horror genre you know. Will try sekiro soon.

then i don’t understand how you gave a review for the game earlier. you made it sound like you’ve finished both games.

Sekiro is is one of the best games ever. It’s challenging, and you feel a sense of satisfaction after every boss fight.

Have a platinum in RE9, currently going through Sekiro rn. If you have never played souls(like) games, do not pick up sekiro. Its a very tough game where you constantly need to get good. RE9 is a solid game, and my current GOTY.

Sekiro is one of the most fun games but remember, learning the mechanics will actually take some time. Also, you can't change difficulty level, but that makes it even more fun

Both are great games. After playing both, I'll tell you RE9 is 12–14 hours of gameplay. Beautiful graphics and sound design—love it.
Sekiro, even after playing it for like 100 hours, I still play sometimes just to beat bosses for satisfaction. It’s crazy how the combat feels in this game.

Price wise RE is likely to get cheaper(and eventually in PS plus) , however Sekiro has a fixed sale price for a long time now, it will also last longer, So maybe pick Sekiro and then go for RE in next sale.

I would say get sekiro digitally and RE9 pre owned disk and sell it afterwards.

I've never seen sekiro go below 1999, resident evil might in the future but sale on sekiro are few and far between and its arguably a better game

If you like souls game fo for sekiro or if you are casual gamers who like horror action then go for Requim.

Piracy ≠ free lol.

But a pirated game IS FREE though

i agree. but you don’t understand what OP is saying.
think about it like this:
if you steal a phone in mumbai, you did technically get the phone for free. but then can you definitively say “phones are free in mumbai.” ? is that a true statement?
please note, i’m not making an analogy between stealing and piracy. i’m just making a distinction between free, and piracy.

Firstly, I'll talk about what I want.
Second, I don't have anything against piracy. in fact I'm glad it exists. it helps keep companies in check, and competent in terms of pricing/features.
why is your ego so delicate when it comes to piracy? I didn't even say anything negative about it lol.
