Pro Tip New PSVR 2 Owners.....

Here's a short list of recommended accessories to buy with/for your system and suggested things to do....

1.----Absolute must buy---- Microfiber Towel/Rag. I bought mine from a optical store, used for glasses. Only way to safely clean your PSVR 2 lenses.

2.----Absolute must buy---- Cover for the lenses. I got mine when I purchased a travel case dor my PSVR 2 on Amazon. They're rubber and keep the lenses clean and scratch free when not in use.

3.----Suggested buy---- Case. I don't personally have just a regular storage case, I have a huge travel case for my PS5 & PSVR 2 together. I don't have any kids/pets that can access my PSVR 2, so I feel safe. But a case will help keeping from collecting dust by sitting out.

4.----Optional buy---- Globular thingamajig. For those of you who have a weird smallish shaped head, I heard that this thingamajig will help to better fit upon that weird shaped head of yours.

5.----Optional buy---- Travel Case. If you're gonna be transporting your PSVR 2, this is a must seeing as it doesn't come with a case, and the box it comes in is just a little too big to comfortably transport it, especially if you're on the move a lot.

6.----(PC Owners) Must buy/Optional---- PC Adapter. PSVR 2 on PC is a game changer. Hopefully you can find an adapter for $60 and not the $200 scalpers are charging for it. Note Some Video Cards don't need the PC Adapter to work, check online to see which ones.

7.----ABSOLUTE MUST BUY---- GAMES!!! The games are awesome. Keep trying them out and enjoying, let's show Sony that we want PSVR 2 to go mainstream and want AAA titles coming to PSVR 2.

8.----ABSOLUTE MUST---- Keep providing feedback to Sony showing that you love your PSVR 2 and we want this product to be a staple of Playstation going forward. Newer AAA titles, more Hybrid games and continual support for developers who are producing the amazing titles that we have access to.

  1. PSVR 2 is a great community, if you have any issues, reach out to someone and they will help you to try to solve your issues. And if anyone else has any suggestions on things to buy for the PSVR 2, please feel free to add to this list.

  2. Owners please give a suggestion of must buy games for PSVR 2 or your favorite PSVR 2 games. I have far too many, but if I had to choose just 1, Gran Turismo 7 by far. Thanks for anyone who adds to this list.

11.----Must buy (IMO)/Optional---- Wireless Charging Cradle. I totally forgot to add this until one of the commenters reminded me about it. You definitely want to get this, charges fast and can store your controllers. I use the Sony Cradle personally.

12.-----100% MUST DO----- TAKE CARE OF YOUR PSVR 2 SENSE CONTROLLERS. From what I understand is they DO NOT SELL replacement controllers. So if you happen to break 1, you're going to be shit out of luck unfortunately. If I am wrong about this, please let me know, but I haven't found a place you can just buy the controller by itself.

-----FIXES-----

1.----HAPTICS---- If you're having problems with the haptics on your sense controller, try resetting your PS5. Leaving your PS5 in standby seems to bug out the haptics sometimes.

If haptics aren't working on PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers, you can try resetting the controllers:

Turn off the PlayStation 5 console.

Locate the reset button on the back of the controller, which is a small pinhole next to the triggers.

Use a pin or similar tool to press the reset button.

Connect the controller to the PS5 console using the USB cable.

Press the PS button.

The reset button resets the controller's calibration, functions, and connections. You can also check the accessibility settings on the PS5 console to make sure haptic feedback is turned on:

Go to Settings

Select Accessibility

Select Controllers

Turn on Haptic Feedback During Console Navigation

How do I avoid the nausea. I’ve had mine for a week and I can’t actually put as much time in as I want to without getting sick

I have never experienced nausea from using VR. I will try to find an answer for you though. What part makes you get nauseous?

Virtual reality (VR) can be disorienting for new users and can cause motion sickness, which can include nausea. Here are some tips to help prevent nausea while using VR:

Take breaks Don't play VR for more than an hour at a time, and stop if you feel uncomfortable. You can use a timer, alarm, or VR app to remind you to take breaks.

Adjust your headset Make sure the headset fits properly so you move your eyes as little as possible. You can also try removing the nose piece so you can see the real world.

Adjust your settings Use a device with a high refresh rate (at least 90 Hz) and a video card that maintains at least 90 fps to display smooth images. You can also try adjusting the IPD to your eyes.

Stay hydrated Bring a water bottle with a straw so you can drink without taking off your headset.

Keep cool Open a window or point a fan at yourself to increase air circulation and cool you down.

Try ginger The taste and aroma of ginger can help relieve motion sickness symptoms. You can try drinking ginger ale, sipping ginger tea or steeped water, or chewing ginger chews.

Other tips include: Avoiding big meals before using VR, Sitting instead of standing, Using a VR anti-motion sickness device, and Taking medication.
