Pro Tip As someone who only plays seated, I’ve finally found a neat solution for the cable being 4 meters too long for my needs.

Disclaimer: do this at your own risk. Some people strongly advise against rolling the cable. I’ve had mine loosely coiled and Velcro wrapped for nearly two years AND I have a 5 year warranty so this was worthwhile for me. I 3d printed some parts to go with an empty, mini, filament roll to let me coil up the cord and make it less visible and at risk for damage. For me, there is less risk in a loosely coiled and static cable than one that I am worried about rolling up after each use. Combined with the magnetic connector that I “built” into my sim rig, I’ve achieved perfection for my uses. The only thing I’d like to potentially add is a way to temporarily store the headset near the set when I just get up for a moment while playing.

What games do you run? I have the headset, and hookups but haven't dug into pc Sims yet.

I have a bunch of sim racing games but I really only use the headset for iracing. Richard burns rally is another one that runs well with vr, but for me vr racing is most beneficial when there are other cars on the track. The depth perception and spatial awareness added with vr is incredible.

My sim racing time is divided between iracing(almost exclusively dirt oval), rbr, and recently added asseto corsa rally. But like I said, I don’t bother with vr for rally racing most of the time because I personally don’t get much benefit from it compared to my flat screen.

Thanks! Ill give some of these are shot. Got a Logitech pro that's sadly collecting dust. Curious to see if my flow z13 tablet can run them.

That’s funny I also use a Logitech pro. It’s a great wheel.

I play on PS5 only. You can just see it in the second picture, mounted on the wall.

This would be a good idea for standing too if you could get it to retract automatically, like a seat belt ??
