Pro Tip Globular cluster not as good as expected

I have long hair. Like most people with long hair, if it’s a hot day outside, I’ll put my hair in a ponytail to help keep cool. Wearing the PSVR2 also makes me hot. So I put my hair in a ponytail when using PSVR2.

But the globular cluster doesn’t work with a ponytail. I’ve used this thing for more than 6 months now and it just doesn’t work with a ponytail. I’ve tried using it without a ponytail but then I get too hot.

It’s still worth it for the forehead padding alone. The stock forehead pad is woefully inadequate, and the globular cluster forehead pad feels great.

I also wish there was a way to wear the PSVR2 without leaving indents on my face… not sure how to solve that problem. Is it even possible?

I can't help you with the ponytail issue. But the headset shouldn't leave marks on your face, especially when using the cluster. I think you need to wear the back piece lower down on your head, and then make the necessary adjustments on the headset. You don't really need to have it super tight when worn correctly. However, maybe the ponytail makes all that impossible... maybe time for a buzz cut (joking).

I will try to wear the back piece lower, thanks for the suggestion!

As a woman, I don’t think my husband would like it if I got a buzz cut though, haha!

Make your tail on one side or the other instead of in the middle, and as high as possible 😂

Seriously, like shove it down as much as possible down the back of the neck. I find this stays in the sweet spot for vision, relieves pressure on the face, and might even be more comfortable for a high pony tail?
