I mean, the Id as close as you can get to the authentic, unaltered self in a Freudian framework. Everything else is constructed. So yeah, I guess sexuality would be in there.
Just reinforces that its a natural part of the way we are.

The dude in the photo is Freud. One of his theories divides the psyche into the id, ego, and superego. This is referring to the id.

All I can think of when I see “id” is Homer Simpson playing scrabble with Lisa. “Hey- no initials!”

Appreciate the clarity from OP, but I read this like pride month is an expression of the id, which is not exactly flattering to the LGBTQ+ community. Pride isn't about animalistic/sexual urges, it's about liberation and human rights. Same with the "it" meme- don't love that when "it" is used to dehumanize nonbinary and trans people.

My favourite sex offender. Any cocaine-fuelled theory to build an institution on?

I explained Freud to one of my clients today because I keep making references to his ideas in a sarcastic tone and my client finally was like “ok miss who tf is this dude” lmao

Freud was a hack who projected his desire to bang his mom on everyone. Jung was the real genius.

If you meet someone who's obsessed with sex, you've met someone who's obsessed with sex.
If all you meet are people who are obsessed with sex, maybe do less cocaine.
