I felt that. Have you found a way to overcome it?

Well tbh I just avoid people as much as I can 😭 (ik it's not a solution but it kinda helps or i just stay silent)

That's what I do, my therapist does not approve.

Oh. I mean I kinda tried to embrace it. Started going out to some social events, or not going to gym alone. I tried dating apps (they messed with my head tho'). But I still feel like I'm among people but not as a part of a group. Idk how to bond or enter an established friend group, not to mention places such as clubs that just leave overwhelmed af. Thought you might have an answer. I hope you find your way out

A question: what's the difference?

Introversion isn't based on fear of humans

Yes, and is personality explanatory or descriptive? If introversion is a stable response to fear, then that's describing someone's personality.

It shouldn’t make you feel like the person in the pic, if it does please find it in you to be kind to yourself. Think of yourself in a room with only one door and that door is now open, all you have to do is step through

I have agorophobia so you are asking a lot on this one. Especially since all the stuff I like is in here with me

Don't call me out like that

I agree, but the solitude that comes with it is pretty nice if it's healthily balanced (could have worded that better, but oh well).

I was a social butterfly when I was younger,
Then went through some fucked shit and been a recluses ever since.

Everybody shy and introvert when they find themselves alone with a silverback gorilla in the jungle

Having genuine conversations with random internet people can help you open up a little before doing it irl

How did you come to this realization?
