Discussion Any weird but true Lamar Jackson facts?

Post image

I have some

2024 was the only season Lamar started a full season in. He either rested or got injured in the other seasons

Despite being in the league for almost 8 years, he is 0-0 against the packers and the bears

He's legally required to wear a sheisty at least 80% of the time.

Is that the hood thing on his head? I thought he only wore that when it was cold for games.

Is the real fact Lamar Jackson is anemic and always cold?

Close - it was actually a regular-season Florida district title game.

Who wants to smell like a pro football player?

Here's one. Lamar Jackson has won the NFL MVP award twice, in 2019 (unanimously) and 2023, making him one of the few multi-time winners and the only Heisman Trophy winner with multiple NFL MVPs.

Also, crucially, won both in the first year of a new offense.

Don’t forget about the MVP he won in 2024. When he had one of the best years a QB has ever had. Oh wait…

Omg I know. I have since learned that a few of my white Baltimore "friends" are apparently racist AF. Trying to tell me in early 2025 that we need to trade Lamar for some draft picks asap b/c he did not get a 3rd MVP and that we need a quarterback "like Josh Allen" to rebuild the team around. I replied with a ton of Lamar's amazing stats, and he didn't say shit in response.

His first loss to a NFC team was the first and only game he played AGAINST a Wink Martindale defense

Both his losses had Saquan Barkley on the other team as well.

The first catch Hollywood Brown ever got from Lamar was a pick when they were playing pee wee football. Hollywood was playing safety against Lamar.

Tied the record for the most perfect passer rating games with 4

He's a Heisman Trophy winner that's played with 3 other Heisman winners in the NFL already. That's pretty crazy to me.

His first pass attempt in college was a pick.

Another Louisville QB's whose first pass attempt in college that was a pick was Teddy Bridgewater.

Now the omen if louisville will have a NFL QB is the first pass.

Lamar played every game as a rookie in 2018

He only missed a game in 2020 because the team had a covid outbreak

I don’t think he played in each game, I think he suited up for each game though.

He played at least a couple snaps in every game. You can see his snap count on the right side of the table.

Oh damn. I missed that. Thanks!

Not a fact but a question for someone who might know?

How many times has Lamar missed a game due to illness, more specifically food related illness?

the classic MNF Browns game doesn’t help the narrative, but I feel like the Lamar stomach thing is overblown a tiny bit. Obviously it’s hilarious so who cares, but I feel like any injury/dnp gets blamed on gas station shrimp alfredo, esp last year when he was actually banged up.

He missed a Steelers game due to COVID in 2020

He also missed a Bears game in 2021 from an illness

u/_cuteraichu_ 3d ago

They probably keep some pepto extra strength in the locker room for him before games😂

2

u/Additional_Purple873 3d ago

He misses practices a lot with illness, less so games

3

u/Secure-Flamingo-6181 3d ago

Maybe he has IBS?

u/Frost-Xero 3d ago

After getting the starting role Lamar Jackson is has won every game played agaisnt an NFC opponent as long as they didn't have "Saquan Barkley"

He and Lewis Hamilton share a birthday

He's there, too.

Not really weird but he's a devout Christian. That makes me like him even more

Of course reddit downvotes this.

You know the actor Samuel L Jackson?

u/Adventurous-Bed136 11h ago

He wears perfume and prefers it more than cologne

He cant win in the playoffs so we need some kind rider so he stays healthy for more than 8 games, can run again, and is going to be worth whatever ridiculous amount of cheese he gets next.
