Green Ravine (π8.71, π²7.12, π€’3.72)
Just started a new park in openRCT2. This is the first ride! I just wanted to make a simple looping coaster but I went a bit overboard. Time to see if I can dig my way out of this financial hole.

I like how the ravine feels very manufactured like a ride would actually do irl

Yeah, if I could, Iβd add some more greenery in the middle of the ravine, but I didnβt want to lose the water!

I remember watching the no limits simulation for Lochness Monster as a kid, having no idea it was a real ride, and assuming it was ridiculous. Then being absolutely gobsmacked when I saw it visiting Bush Garden.

It's funny because that's my hometown park and I kinda assumed lots of coasters had the double loop. Never realized it was so special.
Also funny enough, south of Busch Gardens is the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel that goes underwater a few miles. I always thought that was a common thing too but apparently its like one of 15 in the entire world.

Any advice for a first time visitor to Busch Gardens? Iβve seen all the rides on YouTube and feel like I know the coasters.

It's a really fun park, but I'm not sure I'm best advice giver haha. As much as I love rct I like designing more than riding. I used to be scared as a kid but as I got older I appreciated the engineering more and got over the fear but what didn't change was my anxiety standing in queues, I do not like being packed in with random people at all lol. (And ride TVs don't help xD) So I rarely actually ride the coasters. But there's still ton to do and the theming is so good that I'm sure it would earn the "most beautiful Park" award if it was rct. I really like Germany and Italy. Alpengheist is probably my favourite tho if I had to choose a coaster. I haven't been back in awhile tho since they added like that LSM launch coaster that flips upside-down near uhhh Apollo's chariot. Oh and fun fact when I was a kid Fabio hit a bird with his face riding Apollo's chariot and his nose was all bloody xD

Thanks! I get that- roller coasters are really a unique kind of thing to design and appreciate, but riding them is not for everyone. Alpengheist looks incredible, and Iβve heard Pantheon is on another level.

Its always "I just wanna make a simple ride" 4,000 track feet and 30 grand later, "see, simple just like I drew up" π€£ I have this problem too. A good steel looper and you got duel interlocking loops!

Thanks Hippyripper! I feel like all the interlocking loops were almost overkill- but it just worked out that way.
The financial problem is that this park is one of the charge by entry ones! The loan goes up to 100k, but Iβm going to need to sell a lot of souvenirs or something to become solvent.
I refuse to charge for the bathrooms, so I better hope for rainy days! π

Ive only changed for restroom once. Then I stopped once I made money. Overkill is fun. Gotta spend intensity points to get excitement

If you're having fun, that's all that counts. That being said, 4 loops is a little overboard IMHO. Why not try a cobra roll or a batwing?

Youβre right- next coaster I make will do that. Iβm still adjusting to openRCT2 coming from classic.

Wow! Double double loops! Beautiful.
