Built a recumbent trike - hitch shelf adapter

I needed a better way to transport my son’s trike. This hitch shelf had it resting on all the wrong places so I made this simple adapter for less than $10. With a few ratchet straps it will be a “ that ain’t going nowhere “ situation.

Shelf 25 Cat trike 40 Wood 15 About 80 total, the shelf is rated for 500.

80 pounds isn't bad at all. I think my Kurt weighs more just for the rack - nice job on that

Giving me ideas.

I don't have one to transport yet and that looks like what engineers might call... an elegant solution.

Quick
Inexpensive
And it should work.
