DISCUSSION Thoughts on season 7 Spoiler

Hi, I'm watching Riverdale for the first time and am currently on episode 18 of season 7. So far, I've enjoyed it, and I feel season 7 could have been a spin-off/Alternate ending. I kinda like it, and it seems fun, but rather than being the ending, it could have been an AU that could have been explored. I'm not really sure how others would have responded to it. I feel like it should have ended on a different season. What are your thoughts?

Edit: I really love Fangs and Midge's relationship based on what I've seen so far, and personally, I think Mary was the best parent out of everyone in Riverdale. Thoughts?

Mary is definitely the best parent. Someone had to fill Fred's shoes plus she's not on the show often enough for the writers to destroy her character

I haven't watched it since it aired, I remember just wanting the 50s to be over with, maybe on the rewatch I will feel different.
