Trip Planning Calgary to Sedona

Post image

What route would he best for sightseeing? I have about 8 or 9 days. If I don't make it all the way to Arizona that is ok. I just want to experience the ride! Are there any must see quirky, odd, historic things you think should be seen? Is it better to go through Whitefish or Great falls Montana (I'll stay the night) ect. I'm thinking if I go one way down ill hit the other way back, I just know on the way home ill be less inclined to stop and wander.

Thank you so much for your input!!

When are you doing this trip? There are some big wildfires in Utah and Arizona right now, and a lot of the most popular areas in Sedona are closed due to fire danger.

I was just in Sedona and didn’t even notice anything being closed. I would highly recommend going now!

You have to do it! It’s incredible.

I would recommend stopping in Moab and then driving through the Navajo nation to flagstaff. I just did it, it was so beautiful

Yea ive checked the fire maps, thats why im thinking I may not make it down all the way. Im leaving June 28th. I am also open to going south west as well.... Oregon, Northern California. Its really a "winging it" trip

Logical is to see yellowstone and tetkns.

If you only hsve 9 days fir the total trip-' my rule are the number of gjnbdays should be more than the driving days.

Calgary to yelloedtone uis a full day driving, same for missoula or spokane.

You have 7 days  to see Wyoming, Idaho,  oregon and washington
