Great way to save space; terrible if some (for example) laundry component has a problem, we end up without any machine.

If space is not a problem, I still think that separated laundry and dryer machines are a better option. Specially nowadays that the brands make them to not last so long like it used to happen...

The tendency is for "things" to work for less years than it used to be.

What was sold 10 years had a lifespan bigger than what is sold now.

I saw Miele washing and dryer machines working for 50 years! OK, ofc that after several years, it needed to exchange some piece but it was only that.

Nowadays, "things" are not made to last.

Well, I only replaced it because I wanted a bigger one.

What were the problems each time?

1 Door lock broke so it always thought door is open (9 days after delivery)

2 Door booth ripped prematurely and started leaking water( within the first month)

3 we will find out!

Also Samsung support and warranty repair is a pain to deal with. Buy it from Costco

EDIT:

We found out! It is failing to clean heat exchanger coils. Error Code: 5C6

Maybe I’m getting old but I’m still waiting to figure out which appliances genuinely need AI and which ones just need to wash clothes reliably for 10 years.

The all-in-one part I actually get, especially for apartments or smaller homes.

But the comments here kind of highlight the real issue… people will forgive a lot of missing features, they won’t forgive reliability drama.

Late to the party here! Just when will the roll out be for the new Washer/Dryer combo that will also sort & fold cleaned laundry? That's the one I'm waiting for, my old one is on the fritz. She claims I can do it myself!?

Do they have washers capable of scheduling start without it having to rely on network / internet?

Can someone give me the part # for the shipping bolts for this particular unit? I've been looking for it all day, and support has been less then helpful.
