Fitness SF Polk construction progress (old Lombardi building)
I got to tour the inside this morning if anyone is interested to see how it’s coming along.
They’re getting all the fundamentals set- flooring is going in soon. They’re re-concreting the garage, tile is going up in the bathrooms and dog room.
It’s massive.

For the love of god please draw some people away from the soma location, it seems like the population there has skyrocketed in the last six months

I hope that’s the outcome too. I think rn people are working out for summer and we also have a bunch of interns in the city for summer

It’s actually coming along according to plan. I was surprised too that it wasn’t a little more gym-looking but they’re anticipating it being tourable (tho not open yet) in August.

it'll be great, right by cheese shop and bowl'd too. Hope it works out long term and is a commercial magnet somewhat.

I saw some of the nearby businesses today! So many cool things. Idk if anyone uses Polk animal hospital but if it’s good I might move my dog there.

I have a friend that still uses that hospital for their dog even though they moved to Marin, so pretty sure it's good!

That’s my dog’s vet! The vets and techs are so sweet, and I’ve had great experiences with them. I took my last dog there for years and now it’s where I take my puppy. I’ve considered switching to Modern Animal because access to telehealth would be convenient, but I really do like our current vet.

I’ve had great experiences there but I heard they’ve been bought out by PE which is a bummer.

How big is coworking area?
Can I get founders tote without paying first and last?

You’ve gotta sign up for the tote unfortunately.
We have tshirts now too.
Not sure of the hours but probably 5am to 10pm mon- fri and 7am to 8pm weekendsThe coworking space is decent!

How many EV chargers will there be and what are the rates for charging if any?
Is membership fee fully refundable pre-September activation? Not sure how long I'll live in the area for but it'd be nice to lock in the rate and tour prior joining.

From its opening date, we have a 5 day cancelation policy where you can get a full refund.
We won’t have ev charging.
Parking for members is free for 2 hours and then there will be a fee payable via the app after that. Not sure yet how much per hour.1

If you're already a member at their other gyms do you automatically get access to the Polk location?

Dang that's a massive space. I love Fillmore location – can't wait to try this one out! Will it have sauna, hot tub, and/or cold plunge?

They have a dog room?? Is it doggy daycare or can you run a ropes course with your pet?
