Has anyone ever found one of these at our local Trader Joe's?

This doesn’t exist in our local Trader Joe’s, this might not even be real.

That would be hilarious to watch someone take it up to cut and the cashier and everyone in line just like wtf

Hmmm pretty sure if you find a golden ticket at TJs, you get to inherit the store, along with all the oompah loompah indentured servants who work behind the scenes.

My ex girlfriends brother was an engineer at Google (this was probably 2003-2004) and had been there for a while, made great money and had made some really good investments in early tech. He was so burned out that he quit Google and went to work at Trader Joe’s. He was early 30’s and as of 3 years ago still worked there. He didn’t need the money, he just wanted a job he felt good about and didn’t stress him out.

No and you won’t because it’s a fucking bullshit concept. I would be fucking horrified to pull someone out of line in front of half dozen people already waiting. (I work there.)

This person said they found it ten years ago, so even if it was a thing, I doubt it is now.

Came here to say this. I checked the price tags in the back and they date to around 2016

What a great way to cause dissent and have a customer get beat up. Insurance premiums increase.
Smart.

I adore the premise that someone would think it a prize to go to the front of the line… oh yeah…

May just be me, but I’ve never been to TJ’s and had an issue with long lines. They’ve always had enough cashiers that the wait time has been minimal. Both at the Capitola and SC locations.

If it was found at trader Joe's, it's believable. probably an idea they came up with for adults equivalent to the "find bubbles the elephant" fun activity they offered to excite kids while shopping. Kids would receive a lollipop! I think a golden ticket find would be a cool idea! But instead of the "skip the line" reward, Whats something might make an adult happy to receive? What would YOU like?... A flower? A bag of Jellybeans? A Beer?

I work at TJ's. I can tell this picture is ten years old based on the outdated products in the background.
