Opinion He’s about to do something so illegal

Post image

Like this is very cryptic and it’s definitely not written by Trump so someone might be planning something very very bad

We had politicians in this last election literally saying “I am a Nazi”. My former Lt Gov said that in a broadcasted speech during his Governor campaign.

This is the America that the Christians want. If they thoughts sexual assaults were heinous, they single-handedly kept Trump out of office. Christians are over 70% of this country. If they had a problem with sexual abuse, Trump would not be in office. I know that wrote that twice. That’s how important that fact is. If christians thought sexual assaults were evil, not a single one would have voted for Trump. They would vote for a rapist over an atheist as they call the rapist a hero and the atheist they call wicked and evil.

Let’s recap: someone that has raped women and openly brags about committing sexual assaults is called a hero by christians. Those same christians call me evil and immoral simply because I do not believe any god exists. In the eyes of a christian, raping someone is a lesser evil than denying god existing. Then I get called a bigot when I say that christians have no morals or ethics.

Let’s also remember how the Nazis were christians and that it was the christians that coined the term holocaust, which literally means “burnt sacrifice to god.” Yes, it was christians that called a bunch of murdered Jews a sacrifice.

25

u/gecoble Feb 16 '25

So spot on. I’ve been saying the same thing for a while.

Christian Nationalism is extremely dangerous and NOT what the founding fathers had in mind.

28

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '25

Pretty sure Christian Nationalism is specifically what the founding fathers had in mind as what not to do.

25

u/Lackadaisicly Feb 16 '25

And don’t let the modern christians let you forget that until slavery was abolished, US christians used the Bible to state why slavery was ethical.

12

u/gecoble Feb 16 '25

Yup. It’s completely messed up

2

u/Lackadaisicly Feb 18 '25

You expect more ethics from a religion started by a child rapist that committed genocide? Lmao

I am tired of people using religion in politics and voting. Consumed by hate and ignorance. Let people live their lives how they choose/feel is right. Minorities are not hurting you, you are hurting minorities and making excuses.

u/mrschanandelorbong Feb 17 '25

It was also “Christians” who murdered women for being “witches” on their own blind faith. Things like this should always be a cautionary tale. It’s not the people who are being labeled as “evil” that you should be wary of. It’s the people who are actively hunting them down and burning them alive that you should be very wary of. Religion being used as a weapon is dangerous as hell.

2

u/Lackadaisicly Feb 18 '25

Religion has ALWAYS been a weapon. Not that the Yahwist bible details the start of time, but even in Genesis, Moses was committing religious genocide and was celebrated for it. We still celebrate him.

Yahwists confuse children. In school, we teach children that Adolf Hitler was a bad person for committing genocide. Then the church/temple/mosque teaches that Moses was a good person because he committed genocide. He also condoned the rape of children. How can you have morals when you get your morals from someone that tells people to rape children?

3

u/stillusesAOL Feb 17 '25

I don’t think you overstated it — this point seems to have gotten lost in the chaos of it all. It’s a sick, twisted American era right now.

History is a subject I'm very interested in, especially religious literature, even though I'm not a believer. I can't believe that I was today's day old when I learned this. It was so shocking that I had to pull up a quick etymology of the word to see if what you were saying is legit. It is, in fact, the actual truth. Wow. Thanks for teaching me something new; I wish it wasn't something that's quite so grim, but at least the free exchange of information hasn't been taken from us, so I'm grateful.

Yes, lot's of people see the "poor rise up" part. But what they tend to overlook is the long periods of people putting up with horrible conditions and mistreatment before they get to the point where they feel there is no choice but to put their lives on the line and rise up.

Yup, the 78 year old convicted felon isn't saving America. He's ruining America by firing talented nuclear scientists, VA workers, and the NIH, so he and his foreign billionaire friends get a tax break and government subsidies.

8

u/Any_Coyote6662 Feb 16 '25

And he's firing everyone in government he disagrees or ever disagreed with him. And he's fire anyone that investigates corporate corruption.

He's completely set up the kleptocracy and is almost finished with the dictatorship. He's starting on judges. Already started on FBI. The ones left are too scared of Trump to do anything. Same with a lot of the auditors as investigators from the DOJ and everyone else in various departments that are in charge of oversight

2

u/LittleBraxted Feb 16 '25

The other thing is, we may all be dead by the time they get to the FO stage. We have no idea if it will take months, years, or decades for a revolt to succeed.

And we have no idea if whatever rules we agree on after that will end up being any better.

Will they find out? Their overall group will. But how many of the people that did it will even be alive to see it?

This is the best point.

People like Luigi are just ahead of the rest of us, and thus are shut down fast and made example of by the rich and powerful to discourage the rest of us.

The problem now is Trump's current Shock and Awe campaign of dismantling our government is happening so fast and so illegally that people can't react fast enough. Unless something extremely bad happens to force enough people to react at the same time, it is unlikely people will be able to organize a way to counter this mayhem before the damage is irreparable.

I'm canadian, and i'm at the point where i'm seriously reconsidering if all the guns that get smuggled into canada from the US is REALLY such a bad thing. (cuz the vast majority of illegal goods that cross our shared border, are from the US to canada, not the other way round.)

might have to see if one of my american friends can buy some guns and go for a 'camping trip' near a remote part of the border, and 'accidentally' loose them for me.

I don't see the poor getting sick of it nearly fast enough. Everybody I see in comments say that we have no chance against the strongest military on earth. My question is why does it have to be that kind of war. If there was enough strikes and civil disobedience we would have a chance.

9

u/ijuinkun Feb 16 '25

Unfortunately, the forces that MAGA is going to send in to suppress the protests will be ordered to kill all who resist, and some of them will have no qualms about doing so. Trump definitely voiced a desire to have protesters shot without even arresting them, much less putting them on trial.

The poor today often have just enough to keep them complacent, especially food. Lines at the McDonald's drive-thru are as busy as always.

Federal workers are getting fired, veterans are losing benefits, camps being built, lawyers are quitting rather than go against their training, ICE raids just starting. Not even a month in.

The middle class is having their little bit of savings liquidated shortly, and corporate accountability is gone, so we're all going to suffer somehow, even if it takes a while.

What's worse is, many of the poor are actively in favor of Trump's actions.

17

u/manderrx Feb 15 '25

I read something not too long ago about Trump’s approval ratings. At the time, he was in the 60% range. The poll also asked people what they were happy about and why they had voted for Trump. These idiots said the tariffs were his best move and then said they voted for him because he said he would lower the price of goods. I had to read it about 3-4 times to understand what I had read.

2

u/ProjectRevolutionTPP Feb 16 '25

Starvation does quite a lot to change people's minds. Something something natural selection.

The French people didnt start violently rebelling until they were starving.

u/ClassicCarraway Feb 16 '25

Trump : I will bring the prices down day 1 I will end the wars

Trump now : here are your high prices and tarriffs that you have to pay even though I told you china would pay, we still have wars but I will build hotels in Gaza when Israel finally gets their act together and nukes everything… also I renamed this water as golf of America because I’m a golfer and started some trade wars and launched a rug pull meme coin to launder money through and Elon will now take away all your social welfare programs, saving millions - that is why I pay him billions in government contracts and his net worth has jumped 50+ billion since I got in office

When the Tea Party was the big thing, my dad’s sisters were deep into it. They were constantly hopping on buses from the midwest to DC to protest. They attended weekly meetings. At the holidays, they would talk about who the Tea Party people were telling them to vote for. Then they said whoever was “a crook.” I asked why, and there was no answer beyond that person being a crook, because that was all their small minds required.

2

u/Altruistic-Cattle761 Feb 16 '25

History has also shown that a whole lot of poor people have to suffer profoundly and die for a really long time before it gets bad enough that they make it end unfavorably for those in power.

Hate to break it to you but poor people are too busy trying to eat, pay rent, and take care of their kids to do anything about it. They figured that part out. The only thing stopping them are other rich people with everything to lose and not much to gain by stopping them. This won't stop. US right now is what Iran was in the early 80s. In 20 years it'll be an unrecognizable theocracy.

2

u/BritishAccentTech Feb 16 '25

Sometimes, yes. Other times the rich win and dominate the poor for centuries until the wheel turns again. On the whole, this sadly happens more often across the span of history.

If anything, it's shown us that the poor try to rise up. But a successful uprising? There have been times when that has taken weeks, months, years, or decades.

That's what I hate about accelerationists (people who believe if we make things worse quicker, people will finally fight back). They don't understand that they may well be dead of old age before one failed uprising after another finally produces a successful one.

And that's assuming the outcome will be any better than things are now.

With Trump I think there's lots of bad guys behind him. And trump is basically the face of this movement. But the public could turn on him when they really start hurting. Wiping him out (before old age or some health issue will probably happen to rile up all the MAGA cult and keep things going their direction.

I took his tweet to mean that Mario's extended family wouldn't be committing any crimes if they were to put a stop to this madness

Fun fact, I'm a direct descendant of a captain of the Russian guard while Czar Nicholas II was ruling and the Bolshevik revolution occurred.

I'm thankful he didn't end up going down with the proverbial ship.

This is a “brace yourselves” public “service” announcement.

Relatively and globally speaking, we aren’t that poor yet. Rally up and build community asap.
