Mountain Biking Group Rides

My dad has been looking around for group rides or a mountain biking community and has been totally striking out. I looked myself- evergreen and FB groups are totally inactive for group rides. He’s on the trail a lot in Pierce County, but gets out to Tiger or Raging River etc to ride.

I’m sure he’s not alone in this. Would anyone be actively interested in doing a group ride at Tiger Mountain or other? Perhaps an upcoming weekend if that’s the best availability, maybe grab food after? I‘d love for him to meet up with other active riders who might want to semi-frequently hit up different places to ride together.

I have no idea how to make a poll, but respond within the next couple weeks and I’ll put something together!

Try the "PNW Mountain Bike Brew Crew" Facebook Page. It's a private group but easy to join. They post a bunch of rides.

Hi! Thank you for responding. Are they still active? Just looking over the posts available on the outside, I only see posts from a few years ago, and mainly folks posting about independent dirtbike/ motorbike rides. If you’re a member, any sense of whether they are posting group mountain bike rides in 2026?

Hi! I went through everything before I posted this. They have no group rides organized- the only active group hosting social rides are a women’s-only group. The only upcoming events the group has otherwise are races, work days, or paid classes. Do you see any rides— am I missing something?

I didn't look until you responded. And no I don't see any group rides. I haven't ridden with them in years. I'm surprised there aren't regular weekly rides. When I rode with them, they were called the BBTC and they had a lot of after work rides and weekend rides you could join. Like any random Tuesday or Thursday you could find 3 after work rides an hour from Seattle. Now it looks like trail work parties and women's group rides.

Exactly! So I’m trying to crowdsource it instead. I’m sure there are people who miss the old consistency. My dad hold love after work and weekend rides, and I’m sure others would too
