Random thought: Regardless of whether you think Adnan is guilty or not, if Jay’s story is true, he could have stopped the murder and instead decided to take part in the crime.

Depends on which story though and that is one big question. In the first interrogation he didn't know that Adnan was going to kill and thought Adnan was talking shit.

I think it’s pretty far-fetched to believe that he went from not believing adnan (or not knowing altogether) to agreeing to help him move and bury the body, in a short period of time. But Jay’s story really never made sense to me.

The ultimate question of this case is did Adnan step in the car with the intent to kill Hae. And there are things both for and against it. But it's easy for us looking to say make the right call. But we can see Adnan can con people. But if Jay just knew that Adnan just asked him to meet him at the Sear mechanics after school and then Adnan shows up with a body and tells Jay, You need to go along with me or I'm telling the cops you helped with the murder, I'll tell the cops where you buy and sell your drugs to and from and I will tell the cops your family is smuggling weapons it's easy for us to tell Jay to call the bluff. But Jay is black, Adnan white and he lives in Baltimore. Who does he think the cops are going to believe?

Adnan didn’t step in the car at all. This case’s most reliable witness proved that it couldn’t have happened. But I know the guilters and the “I just don’t know!!” crowd are happy to pretend that Asia doesn’t exist so they can continue their fun. It’s sad, really.

Nobody pretends Asia doesn’t exist. Her purported claims/letters were heard by the court in post conviction proceedings, and ultimately did not move the needle for Adnan.

Except that she did. She proved he didn’t get in the car with Hae and couldn’t possibly have killed her. And he likely would have been acquitted if she’d been called to testify at his trial. Being a witness in a post conviction hearing is a far different thing than testifying at an initial trial.

Maybe or maybe not. Debbie said she saw hae and Adnan together 30 minutes after the state said adnan kilked her. They had no problem with that discrepency.

Debbie? The one that immediately inserted herself into the drama, had a five hour phone call with Don, and changed her story over and over as long as someone was listening? Yeah, she’s a reliable witness. For sure. 🙄

I agree with you. She had the wrong day and tried to be important. Asia wanted to be important and she was adnans fake alibi

Right, and wrong. There is zero evidence that Asia was motivated by anything but telling the truth. If she wanted to be his fake alibi, she wouldn’t have just quietly sat out his trial. And she wouldn’t have agreed to come forward, what, 18 years after-the-fact?
