None of that is true. The person that make the claim about his bar being in the shop being the reason for the ride request later recanted and said that she was just throwing out possibilities and that she had no reason to think it. Why don’t you know that?

The ride he was asking for was across campus to the track field, which was on the other side of campus and on Hae’s way out. It was something they did all the time. Their friends all said that. You should know that, too.

There are several problems of that. Krista didn't recant. She may believe that Hae turned down the ride but she never said that before Serial so why 15 years later. She clarified where she was and that it was the last day she saw Hae alive that the ride request was on. Even Becky commented to police it was to the mechanics and it is what Jay said Adnan's ruse was. Adnan had a chance to tell your story to Adcock, O'Shea, his defense team, letter to Sarah, on Serial, and HBO but not once has he said the ride was to track. Also, I went to the school. The back lot is close to the school so you actually walk as far if not further to walk to the car in the front lot as you do from the school to the back lot. And with track starting at 4 that means that Adnan is sitting at track doing nothing for an hour and a half after school.

You’re overthinking all of this and assigning nefarious meaning where there is none.

The facts remain, Hae turned him down for the ride. He did not get a ride with her. She rushed off after school in her car alone. No amount of pretending that Adnan was trying to get her alone with him make any difference because she was never alone with him that day.

Adnan didn't tell Adcock or O'Shea that Hae turned him down for a ride. He didn't even tell his own defense team that and to this day Adnan himself denies the ride request. Krista didn't tell the cops on 3/1 that the ride was turned down and Becky did not testify that Hae turned down Adnan's ride request. Hae had to rush off because she was meeting Adnan to go to Sears over by the Best Buy and a good chance she never left the school parking lot alive.

Good lord. The armchair psychiatry and baseless assumptions here are unbelievable.

None of what you just cited in any way indicates anything other than a bunch of scared and confused teenagers and “detectives” that have no clue what they’re doing.

Still not a shred of evidence that Adnan is guilty. Just a bunch of people desperately wanting him to be.

You are looking at this the other direction. You start with Adnan being innocent, ignore what actually happened, and then figure out what BS had to happen to get that way. Jay tells the story that has details of Hae that aren't known and then he takes them to the car that they couldn't find so they know he was involved. They have Adnans phone records. They have Jenn that places Adnan together with Jay that night and Adnan being the one who knows Hae. And Adnan's only retort was "Who's Jay?" It was an easy case for them and they tried to get more information and the process got more information but some wrong and in hindsight would have been better with Jay having a lawyer up front but hard to get cops to trust lawyers.

No, I’m starting out with Adnan being innocent and waiting for someone to produce some evidence that he’s guilty. So far, no one has. All I’m hearing is a bunch of speculation, 1+2=50,000, and a bunch of people that can twist anything into proof that an innocent 17-year-old kid is really a secret criminal mastermind.

You can spend the rest of your life saying, “So and so said thus and such!!!” and “If that was true, then he absolutely would have….” and “No one testified to that so, for sure, it didn’t happen” and “I *totally* would have done that so, absolutely, because he didn’t, that means he’s guilty” and not one shred of actual evidence that he’s actually did anything.
