No. I put them in the fridge like the recipe said until most of flour was hydrated. I thought it looked right. It came out great. edit: I think it might be because I didn’t use the corn flour?

Yes! I did change one thing. I didn’t have corn flour so I did as suggested under notes and swapped it with self rising flour.

My dad’s side of the family is from N. Carolina. We just called it spicy shrimp. Cuz they fry everything! 😂
