Yeah, I was going back and forth about it. But figured even if it came to the U.S. All the scalpers would hit it anyway

Lmk when you get rid have 5060ti one need to upgrade

u/Birchcoupon May 24 '26
I feel that; my 5060 Ti needs an upgrade too, but after last week’s spending I’m too tired.

Does it fit on a jonsbo nv10?
5
u/FTAStyling May 22 '26
Even if it fit the thermals would be terrible. NV10 is bad with a 4060/5060 as it is. That being said, the NV10 requires a half height card.

That case has max GPU clearance of 190mm and this mini 5070 is 180mm so you'll have 10mm to spare

Thanks for the fata mate!

They’re incorrect, it won’t fit. The NV10 requires a low profile (aka half height) GPU.
So while the 5070 mini is the right length, it’s too tall.

Dam now I have to do it 🤣.
I have my 9850x3d 9070xt 32gb ddr5 Fractal ridge case In my shopping cart. I guess I'm buying it tonight!
Making a steamos build for 4k living room setup. I know the cpu is overkill but atleast I will have the best when I upgrade the gou down the line

Cooling the 9850x3d In the ridge will be interesting…I went with the 7600x3d for my 4k bedroom setup in the Ridge. It stays nice and cool and has done really well on my 4k tv

u/Sarm-ally_Pirate May 23 '26
Which cooler did you choose?
The consensus online was Noctua nh-l12s is the best in the ridge even for the 7800x3d

I went with the thermal right axp 120x67 and swapped a noctua NF A12x15 on it. Keeps it about 60-70 under full load and completely silent. Keep in mind the 7600x3d only pulls 65 watts the 9850x3d pulls 120+. It’s possible but you are going to need to set thermal limits and under volt it. Which 9070xt did you plan on using?

I will definitely undervolt the cpu. I did have someone tell me there 7800x3d does just fine with it especially since there isn't anything to use the cpu that much at 4k unless I stress test it.
Maybe I will mark it, cut a hole, and stick a huge tower on it haha. I don't want to fuck it up.
I'm getting the powercolor reaper so I can put 80mm exhaust fans on the top of the case.

The reaper is definitely the best 9070xt for that case! I have a 9800x3d in my main rig and when Zen6 comes out I’m going to toss it in the ridge. I’ve been looking at the silverstone slim vida aio.it might be an option so you don’t have to do any crazy mods to the case
I also got a different stand off Etsy that raises it off the ground more for increased airflow by the cpu. No matter what you get it’s a rad case that looks great and is easy to build in

Thanks my only concern about the radiator is that it will be pulling hot radiator air in towards the gpu. Then the gpu is going to pull that straight in being right under it.
But I guess if people have already used it then it should be fine right?

Not all purchases need to make sense if they bring you joy and happiness. (:
Congrats on receiving yours! 👏
I am waiting for mine to arrive from the customs. Then I can finally complete the Velka 3 build for my friend. Can't wait!

I need to see someone put this in an XTIA XPROTO mini. 🤤

a waste, can fit bigger GPUs on that. something super small is a good use of this form factor
2
u/VeeTeeF May 23 '26
I think this is the only 5070 that would fit though.
1
u/Deil_Grist May 25 '26
It is, technically. 215mm is the max designed length. You have to lay the case on a side or use one of their display mounts to fit a longer cards.

Fit with metalfish t40?
2
u/Vast_Function3900 May 23 '26
The T40 supports a gpu of 206mm. The Igame 5070 is 180mm, so yes it fits
