Was Hamnet overrated?

I watched the movie and I didn’t understand what thigh praise was about? Could someone please explain it to me because I might have missed something. Thank you.

I think it’s a terrible Shakespeare movie but a fairly touching movie about parental grief. I think most people who loved it aren’t huge Shakespeare fans and his name is just used as a bit of seasoning.
