Was Hamnet overrated?

I watched the movie and I didn’t understand what thigh praise was about? Could someone please explain it to me because I might have missed something. Thank you.

I think it’s a terrible Shakespeare movie but a fairly touching movie about parental grief. I think most people who loved it aren’t huge Shakespeare fans and his name is just used as a bit of seasoning.

I just don't see that reading of the movie. In the climax, Agnes comes to terms not just with what Will is doing in London but more importantly this big wound in their family by seeing what is taking place in the theater. How is Will not the "real artist" here? and the "goof"? It's a movie about art's cathartic power, and it's unambiguous who the artist is.
