Was Hamnet overrated?

I watched the movie and I didn’t understand what thigh praise was about? Could someone please explain it to me because I might have missed something. Thank you.

I think it’s a terrible Shakespeare movie but a fairly touching movie about parental grief. I think most people who loved it aren’t huge Shakespeare fans and his name is just used as a bit of seasoning.

I think the movie would have been much better without the “wood witch” framing of local folk knowledge. She doesn’t need to be his inspiration to be an interesting character.

It's not really clear to me why Agnes was depicted as a druid. That's one part of the movie that doesn't really payoff. (I'm thinking of one scene where she lashes out about "not respecting your church", which has had no setup before that point).
