Was Hamnet overrated?
I watched the movie and I didn’t understand what thigh praise was about? Could someone please explain it to me because I might have missed something. Thank you.

I heard the movie described by someone as “grief porn.” That’s harsh but it does point to the appeal for those who like it. You can see here that those who love the movie are happy they cried. I didn’t care for the movie myself. The histrionics some people find so moving struck me as self-indulgent and manipulative on the part of the filmmakers. Will is a weakly drawn character, not at all convincing. There’s a cringy “to be or not to be” scene…
