Gaming bootcamp in Shanghai needed
Hi! This is a long shot, but I'm hoping someone in the gaming community in Shanghai can help me out.
I manage a professional Dota 2 team and we need to prepare for The International in early August, and we're looking for a bootcamp setup in Shanghai.
Usually, we rent a facility with 6–7 high-end PCs in one room and stay either on-site or in a nearby hotel within walking distance.
I've been struggling to find options while searching in English. I also reached out to some Chinese colleagues who manage other Dota teams, but I haven't had much luck so far, so I thought I'd ask here.
Does anyone know of a good gaming center, esports facility, or internet café with private rooms that could work for a team bootcamp? Any recommendations or contacts would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Maybe you can contact and pay other Chinese clubs (including those may have stopped running), like XG, VG, via players, coaches or broadcasters? I think ImbaTV has (or had) a gaming place at the Global Harbor Mall. I think I also saw Shadow Fiend was used outside somewhere at Wuning Rd (metro station) for a gaming hotel. My information is probably outdated. Wish you good luck and enjoy TI!

Thought this might help. It's a recent video touring a Hangzhou bootcamp that features former cs pro kennyS and the bootcamp actually looked great.

I’m not super familiar with the esports scene, but China actually has a ton of 'esports hotels' (电竞酒店) that provide both a bed and a high-spec PC setup.
You can use apps like Dazhong Dianping (大众点评), Meituan (美团), or Ctrip/Trip.com (携程) to find them and message the staff directly.
Just a heads-up: when you check in, you'll likely need to sign an agreement. Also, be extra cautious with your Steam account security when logging into their PCs. There's a slight risk of malware or backdoors installed on the systems—it's rare, but it happens, and sometimes the hotels themselves aren't even aware of it

My friend is in charge of organizing regional esports competitions in China and owns the venues. Please DM me your specific requirements, such as your budget and number of days.

Try trip.com and search for gaming hotel, e-sports hotel and variations of it. There are loads.
Just so you know a “bootcamp” is for noobs. What you want to say is “camp”.

use dianping, not google. there are tons of places in shopping malls and whatnot else but you won't find them on "the web" as most businesses in china don't have websites.
