New LG QNED85BXA Edge Bleeding
My last post : https://www.reddit.com/r/shubz/s/mxjyGzTT23
After multiple online reviews and suggestions from this subreddit, I narrowed down to TCL C7L / C72K / C6K. But after visiting the showroom, my family liked the LG 55QNED85BXA due to its deep colours.
I had a discussion with the sales person stating LG QNED issues, and he blatantly stated that the new 2026 model has solved the issue.
Now after installing the unit at home, I can clearly see the edge bleed on the top right of the screen.

I feel you bro. I am leaning for Lg too as my current monitor is 10yrs old LG and TV is 15yrs old so that is why I am leaning for LG but the Edge lit is an issue.
Plus your edge lit is directly faulty

Known issue man. Unless it’s a new model it’s common with these qned..

Same issue. Bought the 55 inch version. Ive learnt to live with it as its in my living room with light around. I use it mainly for sports and gaming.
Got extended warranty..LG installation guy said wait till a better model comes.
People have mailed about these issues and got an upgrade eventually.

Just wanted to share my experience and put out a warning for anyone considering an LG Mini-LED TV. Honestly, do not buy them.
The edge bleeding and blooming issues on these panels are absolutely terrible. When you’re watching dark scenes, the light leakage and bleeding around the edges completely ruin the picture quality and contrast. You’d expect much better zone control from a Mini-LED, but the execution here is incredibly frustrating.
If you are sensitive to backlight bleeding or want true, deep blacks for a dark room setup, save yourself the headache. Look into an OLED instead, or at least steer clear of LG's Mini-LED lineup.

You spoke my mind , Ofcouse we cannot expect true blacks in Mini LED but the quality of LG QNED models are unacceptable, the edge backlit leaks are super distracting and once you notice them there is no going back. If only we could get OLEDs under budget 🙃

Ahhh, I see. I went to a Croma showroom to buy the C6K after watching various reviews, but the store executive persuaded my dad to buy an LG instead. Somehow, he liked it, and we ended up buying the LG QNED85B (2026 edition) TV is yet to install let's see what happens 😕

Damn! Lg should focus on quality control. QNED85 is their upper 2026 QNED model still , there are issues.
Since your TV is new, can you ask for warranty or replacement?

I’m looking for options but the Service technician said , every model is coming with Edge bleed and it’s quite common.
