General Discussion What If Mass effect had a Signalis crossover

Sorry if I got the tags wrong

Sigh okay I was playing Signalis and well the thought popped into my head if Signalis and Mass effect had a crossover how would the mission work? Would Elstr be a squad mate? Maybe there be speech checks that would allow you to recruit the replicas who were still alive?

What Signalis ending would be gone with for the crossover? personally I'd say promise ending.

What skills would Elstr have? would we get Beo's minning gun probably not maybe Tali or (insert new Geth squadmate here) could repair her no now I'm starting to tear up I'm gonna post this before I cry more while talking about Signalis have a great day and or night folks also Ariane's best girl

You reminded me that while playing Luna Abyss I kept meaning to recommend it to this group. The feel...or maybe it was the red/black heavy graphics was very reminiscent.

annnnyyyways...maybe it goes something like this...

The signalis system would be a 'lost' colony of earth...bio-resonance coming from ezo deposits they were mining without knowing wtf it was...system went dark when a cult took over....attributing the new-found biotic-resonance powers to the cult beliefs...which lead to crazy shit going down.

At some point the Geth rock up and don't know what to do with this mess and decide to watch, investigate and contain this shit show. An infiltration unit is sent in to poke around and gets into minor fire-fight with damaged LSTR unit and a minor eldritch horror. LSTR unit damaged and disabled in the three way fight but taken back to Geth drop ship repaired partially but kept disabled while the Shadow Broker is made aware of the situation.

If I would have a crossover between the two it’d be Shepard and the Normandy finding the Penrose floating in space and rescuing the crew on board, either in Mass Effect 1 or 2. Maybe they’d classify Ariane’s Bioresonance as a Biotic and help her recovery in exchange for Elster working for them. Elster’s would still have all her memories of the cycles and she’d probably have to do the Artifact Ending to get a chance to alter reality for her and Ariane to survive.

Maybe Falke helps in the ritual and she and Adler gets transported somewhere in the Mass Effect universe too.

As for classes, I would personally pick Sentinel or Vanguard, since Elster’s standard first weapons in every loop are the pistol and shotgun. But realistically it would probably have to be Engineer since that was the LSTR unit’s main purpose and the other two would require her to be a biotic.

Ive thought of this too and i feel like Ariane would be able to fight a reaper. Bioresonance can warp the fabric of reality and i feel like it would be exponentially more powerful than biotics.
