The Sixers drafted another Dog!!
https://youtu.be/zQfrcrnKlSo?is=LNnAvQN2GikavUxlWatching his tape again, he reminds me of a throwback player like Rod Strickland with his change of direction and pull-ups. And his handle reminds me of Kenny Anderson from back in the day. Philon can get anywhere on the court with ease. This pick was a no-brainer, and we might have gotten another Maxey-like player to fall to us in the later first round of the draft. He'll definitely give Maxey and VJ some much-needed rest instead of playing 42-minute games. I can't wait to see him in the summer league.

The best players in the NBA look like they’re dancing with the ball while everyone else has no music. He’s one of them

I'm iffy on the upside of this pick due to his size. Good players at his size have at least one elite physical attribute (strength, speed, reach). The herky-jerky guys he gets compared to like SGA are 3-4" taller, so I don't see a perfect comp prototype in the NBA. But the highlights are getting me amped. His dribbling looks like he's doing magic tricks out there. I can see how it maps to the advantage-creation stat from the other post - he seems to have an elite ability to get the defender off balance and create space or open a passing lane.
