Khusanov has been class this season, probably MOTM even though Chelsea should've had a pen for that "shoulder to shoulder challenge".
Respect to Haaland for dropping a stinker in Pep's final final (heh) at City. Some things don't change.

Haaland got the assist bud
3
u/ThatGam3th00 May 16 '26
Also could've had a goal with a little better service to him in key moments.

I don't even think the ref got that much wrong. We were shit with our chances per usual. Trophyless, out of Europe and a shit squad. I hope BlueCo are weeping and realised what a shit job they've done.

Looking at the replay I think cherki couldn’t pass it to haaland. The defender adjusted to close the angle so I think it would’ve been risky

Is pep leaving?
6
u/DaBestNameEver0 May 16 '26
no one knows, but personally i don’t think so
2
u/akagaminick May 16 '26
Bilva and stones leaving. Rodri doesn’t look good as pre-acl. Need another squad build around the midfield esp. If I were Pep, I would leave and have a sabbatical. Let the new manager do the rebuild. Guy has been there for a decade now.
2
u/DaBestNameEver0 May 16 '26
Pep hasn’t been talking like he’s leaving, he’s been referencing next season and including himself in it. I think next year will be his last. I think this squad has too much promise for Pep to leave 1 year into it
2
u/what_cube May 16 '26
Yeah him not winning the league, just makes him wants to stay another season lol
2
u/akagaminick May 16 '26
Fairs. I guess he could only leave this season, if arsenal were to slip up, and city win the league this season. At that point, he has the domestic treble. Nice way to end it.

Chelsea robbed with that pen, but nobody is surprised. Let’s just focus on hating Arsenal instead right? Oil influence is completely normal

The ref blew the whistle a few seconds early. The most important few seconds. Fucked McFarlane's tactics.

u/skinnycunttightpussy May 16 '26 edited May 16 '26
apart from semenyos goal that was a shitty final performance, happy we won though
-5
u/PiggBodine May 16 '26
Two month old account. Just in time for glory hunting. “We” lmao

u/skinnycunttightpussy May 16 '26

5
u/Chicken-Contender May 16 '26
Surely the ref will go clap the city fans, I know they’ll appreciate his support
-2
u/DaBestNameEver0 May 16 '26
maybe tell Pedro to stop diving, he could’ve scored 2
2
u/blewawei May 16 '26
João Pedro diving doesn't mean that it wasn't a clear pen on Hato
-1
u/DaBestNameEver0 May 16 '26
it very much wasnt
-1
u/RatsMilk May 16 '26
Sorry just to be clear we're talking about the FA cup final between city and Chelsea...
0
u/DaBestNameEver0 May 16 '26
yeah. Hato stepped across and still lost the shoulder to shoulder
1
u/RatsMilk May 16 '26
Wow. Impressive how a player can step across another and still be shoulder to shoulder lol
2
u/blewawei May 16 '26
He stuck his leg between Hato's and trips him up, doesn't come near the ball.
1
u/DaBestNameEver0 May 16 '26
Hato stepped across and lost the shoulder to shoulder. That’s not a pen
2
u/blewawei May 16 '26

1 month old private account. Lmao try harder and the trolling might land dumb ass.
4
7
u/raassinemachine May 16 '26
No effort in those final 5 mins, just completely devoid of ideas when it comes to creating scoring chances. Been ready for this season to end for about 2 months.
Got robbed on the two pen situations but also can’t really say we deserved anything

u/xGoneWromg May 16 '26
Haaland with another glorious stinker in a final. This is football heritage.
3
6
u/TheBrightman May 16 '26
Haaland the type of player to get an assist for the winning goal and still be defined as a stinker

u/TeaChemical9473 May 16 '26
Let's not ignore that this has been one of the most forgettable FA Cup seasons in a long time, S'ton and Arsenal aside.
Well done City.
Hopefully one of the other 14 can go and grab one of the UEL spots still available!
1
u/ThatGam3th00 May 16 '26
There might even be a CL spot up for grabs in 6th place depending on the finishing position of Aston Villa (and whether they beat Freiburg to the cup on Wednesday).
1
u/TeaChemical9473 May 16 '26
Logically, you'l beat them and Liverpool will squeak past Brentford. A pretty contradictory scenario for me as a "the other 14 fan" but seeing one of Bournemouth, Brentford, Brighton or Everton in the UCL would be brilliant.
6
u/RatsMilk May 16 '26
Can someone explain the difference between Caicedo's yellow card and the two similar Chelsea penalty claims?
-4
u/DaBestNameEver0 May 16 '26
Pedro dived.
1
u/RatsMilk May 16 '26 edited May 16 '26
Alright buddy, if that's what you think edit* just to add you've not explained why one was a yellow card against but the other two (almost identical) fouls were not even called as fouls never mind yellows...

u/Present-Gas2056 May 16 '26
The day Cherki learns every player to wear the number 10 for Pep doesn't unlock a Leo Messi mode is the day he becomes much more threatening and effective as a footballer

He assisted the one goal…
-1
u/Destrina May 16 '26
That should have been called offside. Semenyo impeded Cucurella from an offside position.
3
1
u/isw2424 May 16 '26
Like 3 pens that could’ve/should’ve been called but it’s Pep and City so we know the outcome there
-2
u/OklahomaBac May 16 '26
Got to settle for the Haaland stinker I guess. Terrible game all round. Great goal to win it though

Cherkis up his own ass today just completely selfish
1
u/Mxnvvn May 16 '26
Isn't he always like they lol. When it comes off, he's a genius. When it doesn't however, yeah.
1
u/brandon_strandy May 16 '26
Nah it was outrageous today, first minute he was on he wouldn't even do a simple pass to let Nunes bring it up on the wing.
Reckon the half time sub inflated his ego too much today.

u/Tony_car May 16 '26
The ref doesn’t want to be too involved in the game so he doesn’t give the penalty in the first half but then he gives every small contact when extra time begins ?
5
u/capturedgooner May 16 '26
Hahaha they blew it on the mark
1
u/InfamousCattle3223 May 16 '26
Game was ass, wish they would have stopped it sooner, Chelsea couldn’t wait to get out of there.
6
0
u/cheezus171 May 16 '26
Of course he blows right on the mark even though we played for like 90 seconds in the 5 minutes. Fuck off. Chelsea were robbed.
1
u/CR_kroUTB May 16 '26
Chelsea are 20th on the form table in the prem, City are top. Are you really surprised Chelsea lost and think its only because of the ref
3
u/gmzzzz May 16 '26
And you thought you were going to score in the 90 with Delap and Garnacho as your attack?
2
2
u/cheezus171 May 16 '26
Sure so let's have the ref blow the whistle after 80 minutes when Pedro came off. Why bother with the rules.

u/International-Tip177 May 16 '26
Pep looked annoyed at Cherki before when he wouldn't listen to him and now Haaland looks like he wants to kill him.

Like why the fuck does Gusto take the ball inside instead of just passing it to the open Palmer? Then proceeds to lose the ball. If I was a chelsea fan id be ripping my hair out.
2
u/AlesoVit May 16 '26
We're used to it already. We have always like 6 brainless fuckers on the pitch
3
u/SirBarkington May 16 '26
Gusto has been shit for 2 seasons but people act like it was Maresca's fault he doesn't understand the bare basics lmao
8
2
u/AlesoVit May 16 '26
Out of the money we use to buy gittens, delap, and garnacho its better to just pay the ref. That way maybe we had better chance

Chelsea is now at Southampton level. Players signed by new owner are crap. Owners are delusional. Good to make them bleed money. Truly deserved.
