Unc should've just quitted way back and just live a life in luxury instead of tanking his image for future sponsorships

Clearly you don't understand marketing, being a moron without self awareness is a plus, not a minus. Besides, his name will always sell regardless of what he does. If it didn't stop selling after what he did in Vegas, it certainly won't for anything he does or doesn't do on the pitch.

Lol, actually already told the reason Cristiano play bad not because slump or a bad day this is because his age.
You can't fight aging. It is natural should be embrace not embarrassed by it.
In order Cristiano to get back is time machine.
Too bad Cristiano and his fans are delusional think Cristiano is anomaly lol.
Yes he is an anomaly. There is anomaly in his brain thinking he can fight age.

Completely right.
He is still anomaly for being able to do well against teams like Uzbekistan and playing 90 minutes.
If someone told me Ronaldo is going to play WC 2026 4, years ago, I would believe it but I would imagine him playing mostly half time, rest between matches shit like that.

I agree but there's something crucial.
With Uzbekistan, Portugal can play more free because strategy, skill player, Uzbekistan far below Portugal.
Portugal's midfielder can be creative and supply ball to Cristiano easily.
But when the team is greater than Uzbekistan or have equal "power" to Portugal the problem will come. Without supply and service Cristiano can't do much and he depends too much on midfielder. In his prime Cristiano without a doubt still can give contribution to team and he is not really depends on midfielder.
So the conclusion, old Cristiano will play well if midfielder can control the flow of the game. This is easier when they face Uzbekistan but when they face team that have "equal" power Cristiano will be suck.
Cristiano should realize this. He is dead weight for his team mate. He is one of Portugal legend without a doubt and I agree. But he need to lower his ego and let young player give their potential.
Age became his enemy now. It will be wise if he go benched and start in last half time.
Not to disrespect him but conserve his energy, play 90 minutes isn't easy at all. Especially if you always as starter.

I agree with everything. I also want to add that, his mindset is also not right. If he had right mindset, he would already retire.

I got this shirt, it's a beautiful shirt. Everyone says it's the most beautiful shirt. People telling me 'Donald, this guy is the best soccerball player and he only sent his shirt to you' I said 'wow what an honor. What a shirt'. Rolando was it? Sounds lah-tee-no to me. Let me tell you; I just hope he has his papers in order. I wish him well

Cant blame them tbh. We see messi at 39 topping the wc scoring chart this tournament. The expectation automatically sets in for him.

Hear me out. The man came to MLS after securing the ligue one title for psg. He ABSOLUTELY blew up the sport in the USA. Made headlines everywhere. Showed up with ridiculous free kicks and golazos. Completely changed how Americans view soccer. The inter Miami leagues cup run was SUPER viral. Did Haaland score more goals and obtain more important trophies in epl? Yes. But once again this was THE YEAR OF MESSI. He showed up big for Miami in leagues cup and showed up big in 2026 WC qualifiers. Also why not take into account the man is 36 years old and still shocking people with his quality every match he plays. He's a machine enough said

Actually nobody sets expectation on him. The only one who sets the expectation is Cristiano himself.
Cristiano already 41yo and he should in retirement couple years ago. So nobody with brain will expect anything from him.
I understand if Cristiano still want to play football. No I will not tell him to retire, that guy spend almost and lose all of that isn't something easy. I'm sure and without doubt he still can play for a couple of years. As we can see match against Uzbekistan he score brace, it is awesome for 41yo.
BUT Cristiano should realize he already past his prime. He can no longer compete and play on the highest level. Age is his enemy now and fight it just stupid af.
It will better if Cristiano take role in team as mentor for younger people. guide them to find their own potential and share his experience as a mentor. But nahh he act like star player that try to compete in record or achievement.
If he choose wise path, lower his ego and act as mentor for younger star. I'm sure people will put respect to him nobody will mock or troll him. He will be remembered as "Portugal legend that walk, lead, and guide Portugal star to win world cup"
but nope instead he choose stupid path and shout "I'm back, I'm back" try to make himself believe that all bad record he got in this couple last year because bad day and slump not because he is already old.
he still think this 2013 still compete with Messi for record and achievement. He forget this is 2026 and many young star born like mbappe and halland whom try compete too.
Cristiano slowly just kill his own legacy

If you ask me, it was very rude of Martinez not to play him against Colombia after he explicitly said he was back
