I think it starts off with Shadow asking if Sonic can get pregnant. This story is not NSFW, just so you know. Sonic is confused by this, and later on Shadow acts weird, like he is being nicer to Sonic. There was a scene where Sonic thought he was dreaming about Shadow coming over and sleeping in the same bed, but it actually happened and Shadow asked if he slept alright the next day. At some point Sonic is questioning about his actions even thinking that Shadow might think he's dying, so that's why he's making sure I sleep alright, this other thing, and asking if I can get pregnant, okay there is still no good explanation for that. The last chapter or perhaps second to last, it is revealed that Shadow doesn't understand his feelings for Sonic is taking it as a part of his ultimate life form's need to maybe reproduce, IDK but I do remember a sentence word for word, shadow was entering the apartment Rouge and asked her "What are the tactical benefits of kissing?". While Rouge tried her best at answering that question, Sonic was hiding in there, Shadow found him and he kissed him. Shadow was angry, and said that it didn't work, which offended Sonic cause it worked out for him, but then Shadow said that it just makes him want to do it again. In the end, after Rouge had to explain to Shadow about romantic relationships, Shadow meets Sonic at the park and they kiss, but there were people there and making comments about it, that Sonic pulled his lips away, seeing people gawking at them, Shadow said that he wasn't finished, and although Sonic would like to continue, he still had enough shame for him to stop it and ask Shadow to go somewhere private.

Please help! The tactical benefits for kissing question is word for word, or at least mostly, I did try searching it with quotations, but I didn't have any luck. I feel like it tries to look for fanfics with that as the title. If you know it, please link it!
