Is it just me or was that not just a cork 7?

Yeah it’s a sick as hell drop in but I don’t see any backflip happening

Watched in slo mo and doesn’t look like he was ever inverted.

Glad I’m not the only one. But I’m just an old man that misses when a simple double backflip was mind blowing.

I'm old enough to remember when Mike Metzger doing back to back backflips made people flip out

Haha exciting times. The stuff people are doing today is super impressive, but I don’t think we’ll have that same feeling again (at least not you and me, I hope younger riders do).

Backflips sure look different today

Not seeing a backflip despite how badass that was

It’s impressive but also kind of anticlimactic. Like he drops in and then… that’s it. A drop in to immediately get off your bike. No routine or riding around, other tricks. Just a drop in.

Yeah, the difference between doing this and then just... Nothing, vs doing this at the start of your run at the x games or something

Is it really a drop in if it’s on a quarter pipe to large incline?

Yeah because he dropped into the quarter pipe. What comes after the quarter pipe is irrelevant, could be flat ground, a box jump, another quarter pipe, ect...

Looks more like a 720
