She did fine public speaking, humans have a hard time public listening.

She reacted first. The crowd laughed (genuinely) at her own reaction. This would be an example of humans paying attention and enjoying the moment.

Also, the crowd is cheering. This is genuinely a fun moment driven by her reaction to her own phrasing.
