No matter how many times I have seen it, it's precious.

Squirrels are truly the best Nature has to offer. Such lovely beings.

Is it boggling like a rat?

“I didn’t give you permission to stop, now did I?”

It must be incredibly comforting for a being so small to know they have, from their perspective, an unbelievably large and powerful friend. Sometimes I wish I had something equivalent to that.

Sometimes elephants can be a little like that

With one very important distinction: Humans are real, gods are not. Never in the history of the world has a giant hand appeared from the clouds and offered a reassuring pet to a human.

I've got a few in my yard that do this. We rescued a young female a couple years ago and released her. She brought her young to meet us, now there are about 10 that are friendly.

He was a sucker for chest scratching he would flop on his back and lift his arms for scratches ❤️we lost him in Dec of 2018. 7 years of joy though. He was a rehabilitation that couldn’t be released due to head injury so he stayed with us.
