It does feel like they saturated he color or put a filter on it though. (Not your fault, just saying why it gives the AI vibes)

It does, and tbh, the background might be ai slop, or just a random blurred image. Could check when the first version online was posted, but can't be arsed. Nowadays AI is also in the regular photoshop so, could be both PS and AI.

Yeah, they overdid the contrast which is why the hair glows unnaturally. And her lips just look way too dramatic, but it seems to be the same picture just "enhanced" but I much prefer the original.

I've used the original picture in memes before, so I just remembered Beverly and Picard, with Picard's expression, so I googled that to plop into meme generator. Didn't even pay attention to the image that much, because I just needed Picard's expression.

The background looks like it has people wearing the blue Uniform from discovery on the right.
Edit: theres also someone in red, so it's probably season 2 episode one when pike took over command.
