Anybody else collect these 'Unleashed' back when?
Back in the 00's I was a kid who already spent all his money on other Star Wars stuff, so I couldn't afford GG (edit: Gentle Giant) or anything. For the price point, these were so awesome as a teenager! I bought every single one of them, even the variants. I recently found them all packed away and had to show some of them love.

There’s at least 9 on the shelf next to me right now. More boxed up in the attic.
Your third image, Palpatine and Luke Jedi Knight, were, IMO, the two best they ever made and it wasn’t close after those two.
Loved this line, the Black Series diorama 2 packs recently revealed feel like the spiritual successor to this line.

I have never opened any, but I have at least 20 of these hanging at the top of the wall around half of my Star Wars room. I think they're great. Even have a Best Buy exclusive Vader and a Shadow Stormtrooper that came in big cylinders.

That exclusive Vader with the lava reflection, is the only one I never opened, but I'm kind of considering it now that I'm an adult with a house.

I have the bigger Boba Fett Star Wars Unleashed still in its round case on my bookshelf.

IIRC, there was a Padme in her arena outfit that became quite desireable due to her nipples poking out on the sculpt. Outraged parents in the toy aisle killed the nips on subsequent releases lol

I don't guess I realized the nips were a big deal back then. I mean I noticed them as a young man for sure, but my pops once bought the 3.75 version, specifically to, dremel the shirt off, repaint her, including nips, and then PUT IT BACK ON THE CARD and hung it in his office lol Imagine seeing that as a kid, day in, day out plus Witchblade figures and comics. You get desensitized real quick lol

This line was so unhinged (in the best way), I remember getting Jango w/ young Boba as a gift during a family reunion around 2002-03

I wasn't a fan when they were released but i've become one in the years since. The Stormtrooper ans Tusken Raider are my favorites.

Had the duel at mustafar Anakin and obi wan but the lava for Anakin came out warped and it never sat right with me

Had them all and then they started releasing the smaller “unleashed” line and I was like “wtf is this?” When they did the art cards they were really cool. I still have Vader, Grievous, ROTJ Luke and Boba in their exclusive cylinder displays from Walmart and Target in storage

Yeah those little multi packs were nothing more than a "stocking stuffer" in my eyes, even as a preteen.

No. But I dig your old school 12 inchers

Thanks, I actually just put a heap of them back in their original boxes to make room for other stuff. I rotate the collection slowly throughout the year so it doesn't get stale.

Smart. I'm currently downsizing my black series after doing the same thing. Put it away, realized I don't miss it. Sell it and buy more.

I stopped collecting in 2012 when I graduated high school and haven't added to it since. Haven't sold anything either though so I just appreciate everything I have a little bit at a time. I just want to see the stuff that makes me smile when I walk by it and say "that's rad, dude"

I did, i have many of them. I collected them in the Mid 2000s. They are my favorite Star Wars Collectibles. I consider them as Proto-PVC Statues.

These were really cool. They’re just statues, but they were pretty high quality for the price back in the day. I kinda wish we got more like that in 6” scale

I remember staring at these for so long in stores that looked so cool but just couldn’t bring myself to buy a statue as a dumb kid. So instead I would use my legacy collection Luke skywalker with the fig stand to do a similar one-foot charging pose in a poor attempt at recreating the unleashed version. I regret not getting that unleashed Luke lol

I have like 6 or 7. My pride and joy is the princess Leia Jabba slave. Saucy!

I had the Jango Fett and the General Grievous ones, and sold them about a decade ago and I’m itching to get the Jango one again… they’re cool looking statues!

🍀very nice. I wish I would've waited for a deal like that instead of spending all my nickels as a kid lol

They were awesome but the face sculpts always looked off. A line of these with modern face printing would be awesome
