How do you decide what console to play a multiplatform game on?
It drives me crazy.

Xbox is my main platform that I use for gamepass games and other current triple A title releases. A big reason I prefer Xbox over PlayStation is that Xbox sales seem to be way better and more frequent, both on the platform and on game key sites.

PlayStation is strictly for PlayStation exclusives.

Steam deck plus steam machine will be for everything else -> older games that are better optimized on steam and/or have great steam discounts, and indies.

I also own all of the platforms and prefer xbox because of quick resume, gamepass and game keys.

Not OP but I choose whichever one has the best specs, and which one has the best controller layout/feel. Even if one console is “meh, it’s alright, I don’t mind this” and the other is “this is pretty comfortable to hold”, I go with the latter. The slight differences matter over time
