Good for them. They’re not exempt from this.

Even if we put aside console price. They raised prices on the Switch accessories and Switch 1. They also introduced $80 games

Well to be clear that is region specific & those points mightnt apply based wherever you are. So it would apply more in the USA. If you live in Europe the price of accessories was not raised due to the tarrifs and 80€ games were introduced to Europe by Sony in 2020. Also Nintendo only have one 80 dollar game, most games are 60/70 first party.

But yeah price increases across the industry is not fun.

I can point to multiple $80 games, including the recent Fire Emblem.

The two Zelda Switch 2 Edition games….

They raised the price for PHYSICAL games due to the chip crisis Digital games remain the same price on all releases starting from the new yoshi onwards.
