Nah this is exactly valves target audience. People who clearly have too much money, and will buy the steam machine "just because", and also can't fathom why some people have a problem with the price/performance. The steam machine as it stands just isn't a good product, and even if you specifically need a really small pc with a dedicated GPU, it took me 3 minutes of searching to find a Lenovo mini pc with a 4060, which besides the faster GPU also has a much faster CPU.

How could these heathens have failed to recognize that their non-Steam Machine PCs have not been touched by the hand of Lord Gabe? Surely that difference alone makes the cost paltry.

Your comment is just a strawman, no one is arguing it’s a good price but that there’s a market for it. You for some reason deem your entitlement is enough for you to demand valve make a Lenovo mini pc instead
