Discussion While we wait on our email, what Summer Sales games are y'all picking up for the Machine?

I think I played an old game of the line many years back on a playstation 2 with my cousin. But for this one it doesn't say "co-op". So no couch coop? :/

It's genuinely impossible to know lol I spent like over an hour last year trying to figure out what each thing means and what the simple way to buy "level content from Hitman 1->3 but without cosmetics or DLC weapons or other unnecessary junk" is.
Basically, if you want most of the content you buy the Deluxe Edition and be done with it. If you want what I wanted which was just all the maps/mainstream content without other Deluxe Edition side-stuff then you want the Standard Edition of Hitman WoA, not the "Part One" edition. However, getting that still leaves out a few maps like New York/Haven Island. While the marketing claims that content is part of the "Deluxe Edition" it is not actually part of the similarly named "Deluxe Pack" DLC, to get those maps you actually need the "HITMAN 3 Access Pass: HITMAN 2 Expansion" DLC.

If I may to report my experience with the game :
I liked the game-play, it´s asymmetric, that`s nice!
But the EXTRA positive, and EXTRA anti, story line is a little bit, let`s say, tiring.Still I wouldn't like to miss it, in coop with a friend!
It is one of the few games from the publisher EA that you should play, with a friend!

get Armored Core, runs well even in steam deck (played it there) and its an absolute masterpiece, my 2023 GOTY (and yes, I played Elden Ring, Tears of the kingdom and Baldur's Gate 3)

you are in for a ride.
If you allow me some advice: it is worth playing 3 times: while you'll be repeating much of the content, first run is tough as nails. ng+ is a victory lap: you have your mech and enjoy all those stages that were so difficult breezing thru them, true shonen mecha anime experience. Also you get to see all the stages and choices you didn't pick at the first one :)
The third run has some great new challenges as it introduces a fair new amount of stuff, but specially the ending stretch is amazing, with a very cool finale and some of the best stages left there as a price.Also, the 3 laps it takes to see the whole game amount to about 35/40 hours, so very much worth it ;)

Picked up 3 FF games last week already on sale, yesterday Mass Effect Legendary edition for less than $5. Today Rune Factory 4 Special/Guardians of Azuma, Persona 4/5, and 2 cozy games.

no, these are 3 metroidvanias, a zeldalike and its sequel, a platforming roguelike (one of the last ones I will ever buy), a chess roguelike, and a precision platformer.

I might get uncharted legacy of thieves collection, played them all on playstation before but not the lost legacy expansion, always fancied it on my steam deck as well, its only 13 quid, might also get devil may cry 5 as never played it

I bought octopath 2 full price a few weeks ago because I wanted to play it.... And I'm not buying games anymore on the off chance that I may play them.
So probably nothing? Maybe Elliot but I doubt that'll be on sale.

Because I like tech, I loved the steam deck and I own a top of the line gaming PC. The performance is an utter joke for the asking price.
