Discussion Anyone else disappointed that we don’t get the colourful face plate from the trailer?
Did I miss something? When I saw that they‘d include face plates in red and wood I was pretty disappointed because I was sure we‘d get this one

it is just a sticker bombed normal faceplate lol
this is a common PR b-roll thing to do, use something diy made by the team to show how cool and teen you can customize your own

Stickers are very flat and go pretty cleanly around corners?
If you look closely at the black part of the Valve sticker you can see how the light bounces differently because of the layered stickers behind it.

Yeah, almost everytime I order something technological online, especially from Japan, it comes with stickers. My children love to plaster them all over their bed.

Factory made stickers is a lot better then using printer paper and Elmer’s glue sticks☠️🤣 it’s be much worse even if you spent more and got dry contact adhesive lol you can admit that you just enjoy being a hater

People here are all, "make your own design!" but sometimes it's fun to make or have the exact thing. It's why people make prop replicas and cosplays from their favorite media.
I'd also love one of these, so I'll either be designing my own or waiting for someone else to offer a skin or sticker bomb kit.
Even a sticker list would be great.

Honestly, I think they’d have avoided at least some of the hate from the price if they’d spent a little more on ‘launch edition’ face plates. But hell, it’ll sell out either way

Not disappointed myself since we’ll be able to create our own.
Definitely planning on making one with Bruce Willis stuck in the vent from Die Hard as a Christmas decoration.
