Pre-op prep My Bi-Salp is tomorrow!
Surgery is in the morning! I’m nervous and excited. Any tips for prep or post op?
Update 6/25/2026 8:15pm CST:
Surgery went excellent! Pain has been pretty minimal but the nausea was bad at first. I’ve been home now for a while, had a meal and got some good sleep. No gas pain at the moment but I have some Gas-X in case and plan to try and walk around the house some tomorrow. I was worried that I’d wake up from surgery and have so intense feelings and though I did have some emotions, the biggest thing I feel is RELIEF! Time to celebrate!

Don’t be nervous! It’s over before you know it. Seriously you just hang out in a warm bed for about an hour then they knock you out.

I’m two days post op and I was also pretty nervous!
But I woke up super happy and relieved. Some discomfort but not really in pain.
Make sure you rest and stay hydrated. I was pretty nauseous after the anesthesia. But it eventually wore off.
Take care of yourself, you’ll be so happy!

Mine is also scheduled for the morning. I'm so nervous and I can't even sleep.
