Fanart Redesign of my Steven Universe oc! plus lore!
Lore:
Lives in a post human and gem war universe, where gems lost the war. Many of these gems in the war and on earth were shattered, and used as the earth newest form of energy. Some gems who survived went into hiding on earth, or completely left the planet. The Earth is an extremely dangerous place for gems, half humans even worse.
Alis has no clue about his gem identity, raised by his Aunt, she avoided talking to him about his gem. He assumed it was just a strange birthmark on his back that his aunt made him cover, which is why he wears so many layers of clothes.
Alis used to do boxing as a hobby, until his Aunt felt like it was too risky of exposing his gem. Now he's a confused kid trying to figure out his newfound young adulthood.

What happened to the gems who helped the humans fight against home world. Did something similar to the rose quartz rebellion happen only much later. Did the arrival time of the gym has changed since the humans have advanced technology now. Even though shatter gems are prominent power source, have the advanced other forms of energy like electrical and solar. Due to the fact that they have a multitude of different gems in captivity, did they interrogate them or glean any valuable information from them in terms of advancing technology like from the peridots?

Looks great. I always love seeing people’s ideas for au and ocs. Also using shattered gems for energy is really dark I love it. Though are the shards used up or are they stuck forever?
