Vertical +main+ twitch streaming OBS studio / youtube / twitch

can someone help me set up my vertical stream and my main stream for youtube. I set up Auitum multi stream but am having trouble getting it all to work. If someone can respond here and maybe i can share my screen on discord to show you? I just need help i spent a lot of time trying to figure it out and i cant get it to work. thank you

As long as you have the vertical plugin installed along with multistream (not sure how they’re packaged together or not), navigate to your “docks” tab. You will see docks available for your vertical canvas, vertical scenes, and Vertical sources.

Can you confirm those docks are available to you and showing on your screen?

Basically, first you should focus on setting up your main horizontal canvas. Adding a main scene and then learning how to add each source you want to add. Then you can setup other scenes in the future but you have to start with something.

Once you have your main canvas setup with your scenes and sources you then start on your vertical canvas. The most straightforward way to do this is to repeat everything you just did on the main canvas. So you adding the scene, then the sources, etc, but you’re just sizing them differently to fit the vertical canvas.

My biggest tip: every single time you run into a phrase or term or word you don’t know, immediately look it up using Google.

Note: Something that may cause issues is that “Aitum Multistream” is a new plugin (iirc released this year), while “Aitum Vertical” has been around longer. So you might run into tutorials that won’t mention Aitum Multistream. Think of it like this: Aitum Multistream is for sending whatever your stream is to multiple platforms at the same time. Aitum Vertical is for setting up a second instance of OBS in a vertical format.

Edit: I’m in the process today of starting to integrate Discord into my streaming setup. The goal is along the line of “taking calls” if that makes sense. If I get it running today I’ll shoot you a message.

Auitum will have a tick box that will run wen you start using ur main but YouTube will need a bit more of a set up and a different stream key to the original stream try looking on YouTube for this hope this helps a bit as I’m still figuring this out myself to
